The house is framed with light wood and structural steel elements. Grade beams in the foundations distribute loads efficiently on soft ground to minimize concrete use. A lightweight green roof sits atop the garage.
Exposed architectural steel connections are meticulously detailed for a minimal aesthetic, while concealed thermal breaks create the illusion of continuous steel beams through the walls. The auxiliary building features cast-in-place colored architectural concrete with steel elements discreetly integrated into the curtain wall window frames.
