The Phoenix is a eight-unit building constructed with conventional lightweight wood framing on the lower floor and SIP panel exterior walls above. The roof is made of lightweight trusses. It was one of the first high-performance multi-residential buildings of its kind, designed for superior airtightness and insulation.
