The Valkyries is a four-unit building constructed using conventional lightweight wood framing, with exterior walls and a roof made of SIP panels.
It was one of the first high-performance buildings of its generation, designed with exceptional airtightness and superior insulation. It was also one of the first multi-residential buildings in Bristish Columbia to have foundations reinforced with Helix micro rebar.
