Timber Ridge is a net-zero, four-storey house made of exterior walls and roof SIP panels. Inside, a system of glulam posts and beams creates an open-concept layout on the main floor. Steel cross braces, integrated into the glulam staircase, maintain unobstructed sightlines while offering an efficient and cost-effective lateral force-resisting system.

Architectural glulam knee braces around the house support the SIP panels, enabling large overhangs. The structure rests on a conventional ICF concrete basement with spread footings.
